Comprehensive renovation of a farmhouse built in 1896, located in a small rural settlement in the Cerdanya region. The building had not been renovated for more than twenty years.

This project presents a particular challenge, as in addition to its primary use as a working farmhouse with animals, the family also uses the remaining spaces for holiday purposes.

To achieve this, the architectural restoration of the entire complex has been carefully considered, respecting its original layout while reorganising the interior spaces to improve living conditions.

Ultimately, the rural character has been preserved through the use of traditional materials, while at the same time incorporating contemporary solutions that provide greater comfort and energy efficiency.
